our client is looking for a Financial Accountant

The Roles and Duties
• Checking the accuracy of processing into the GL
• Preparing some Statement of Financial Position account reconciliations
• Reviewing reconciliations prepared by direct reports
• Close the GL and inform every concerned party about the closure.
• Prepare adjusting journals arising out of the reconciliations.
• Run and upload the HOA and Deferred Revenue journals into Sun.
• Check for inaccuracies in the journals and if there are any, to inform the Systems Accountant who will fix any inaccuracy resulting from the HOA template.

To prepare the Financial Accounts Pack
• Recalculate the Financial Review workbook in Vision.
• Recalculate the Statement of Financial Position workbook in Vision.
• Copy these into Excel Ensure that Statement of Comprehensive Income shows an accurate Surplus
• Check on grouping inadequacies in the Statement of Financial Position and regroup as appropriate.
• Check on the accuracy of the Distributed Reserve figure.
