Qualification:

Grade 12/Matric Certificate

BComm Degree (Acc) or relevant Diploma in Accounting



Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years post qualification exposure in a corporate environment

Exposure to enterprise wide systems and report writing

Knowledge of JDE accounting

Previous experience in a property company

VIP, IDU and Clickview exposure

Systems development and implementation

Proven track record in systems development and internal controls

Attention to detail and accuracy

Able to meet tight deadlines

Ability to take initiative and work unsupervised

Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels



Job Description:

Reporting to the Financial Executive, your duties will include:

Submitting complete and accurate financial information in required agreed time frames. This includes monthly management accounts, quarterly shareholder reporting and annual audit information; providing the business unit manager with their respective financial reports and assisting with the interpretation of these reports; assisting business unit managers with their budget preparations and review; capturing salary information into GL. Analysis of salary cost and reconciliation of control accounts on a monthly basis. Completion of audit files on a monthly basis (including analysis of income statement accounts and balance sheet account recons); identification of problem areas within business and timely resolution of these; maintenance and development of the internal control procedures and accounting systems; preparation of subsidiary company accounts on a monthly basis; participation in ad hoc projects.
