This position will be based in Worcester, Cape Town and requires the skill of a BCom Hons qualified individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience: 3 years Articles and 2 years Commercial. Qualification:

BCom Hons

SAIPA / SAICA Articles (advantageous)

OR

Newly qualified CA (SA)



Skills & Experience:

At least 5 years working experience as a Financial Accountant

ERP exposure – AccPac preferably

Knowledge and experience with latest B-BBEE codes

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (highly advantageous)

A strong team-player

Strong time-management and prioritizing skills

The ability to adapt to regular changes



Job Description:

Key essential requirements for potential applicants: knowledge and experience on B-BEEE codes, ERP software exposure, mentoring, coaching and management of staff.

The position will include the following duties, but will not be limited to:

Month-end accounts

EFT payments – review and processing

Reporting responsibilities

Compliance with internal control processes

System implementations

Coaching, mentoring and managing of accounting team

Liaising with internal and external auditors

Assisting with VAT and Income tax calculations and returns

Preparation of annual financial statements
