A reputable company is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant to join its dynamic team.

Key responsibilities & duties
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage outsourced functions
• Oversee the operations and ensure that the department's goals and objectives are achieved.
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
• Maintain banking relationships
• Manage the preparation of the company's and departmental budget
• Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
• Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput
• Preparation of financial reports and management accounts

Requirements
• Relevant degree/ diploma in Accounting and Finance
• Must have at least 15 years accounting experience with +5 years managerial experience
• Pastel knowledge
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Available immediately
