Financial Accountant for a company in the Agricultural field.
Requirements: Bdegree in Accounting from a recognised Institution and completed articles.
Matriculated with Accounting and Maths
High energy levels, positive attitude and ability to multitask
Afrikaans must be the first language, due to the nature of the business with good Business English
Soonest availability as the position needs to be filled urgently.
Resident on the West Rand
Reporting to the financial manager
Approximately 6 years years experience, including the period of articles
Job spec is that of a full accounting function, including: Salaries in all aspects (Payroll / Files / Queries) on Paywell system for approx. 50 staff Statutory reporting and returns (SARS / SETA / Employment Equity / STATS SA, etc.)
Year-end support with the annual audit Budgets – management against actuals - monthly
Reconciliation of intercompany loans and accounts
Bank reconciliations
Maintain Asset Register Petty Cash Month end procedures / reconciliation and balancing of Control Accounts
Management and reporting of Fleet cards
Cash flow management / budgeting - daily
