A well-known established company is currently seeking an Accountant
Debtors experience will be advantageous.

Experience and qualifications:
• Between 3 and 5-years relevant experience in an accounting department within a medium size organisation;
• Experience working on either SAGE, PASTEL or SAP;
• Relevant 3-year bachelor’s degree;

Role and responsibilities:
Key areas of focus to be covered by the role are:
• Daily/weekly/monthly reporting;
• Compile and prepare debtor reports and reconciliations
• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts;
• Prepare and maintain various company budgets;
• Assist with preparing monthly statements by collecting data, analyzing and investigating variances, summarizing data and information;
• Assist with preparation of financial statements;
• Complete other adhoc tasks within the accounts department;

Preferred Skills:
• Good working knowledge of Excel;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Able to work well within a team as well as independently;
