Main job purpose

To ensure financial information is provided to management and head office in achieving the set financial and operational objectives.

Main Objective

Responsible for accurate Financial Reporting and highlighting any anomalies or non-functioning processes to the Financial Manager
Interact with shared services and external auditors to ensure smooth running of administrative functions
Responsible for reviewing Corporate Cost Centers and actual vs budget results in order to highlight anomalies
Review transport costs for all plants in order to highlight anomalies and abnormal transport
Prepare, consolidate and co-ordinate annual budget and quarterly forecast for Manufacturing
Responsible for influencing the behavior of the management team and Export warehouse around decisions regarding budget and warehousing of stock so as to ensure that sites are within budget.
Critical job requirements

Grade 12
B.Comm degree (Accounting)- non negotiable
Sound knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of SAP non negotiable
Sound IFRS knowledge
Experience

3 years’ experience in a financial accounting environment- non negotiable
3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment- non negotiable
Must be prepared to travel
