Main Functions:

• Daily/weekly/monthly reporting;
• Compile and prepare debtor reports and reconciliations
• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts;
• Prepare and maintain various company budgets;
• Assist with preparing monthly statements by collecting data, analysing and investigating variances, summarizing data and information;
• Assist with preparation of financial statements;
• Complete other adhoc tasks within the accounts department;

Requirements:

• The following are a must for this candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree- NOT negotiable
• 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting department within a medium sized organization
• Experience in debt collecting
• Experience working on either SAGE, PASTEL or SAP
• Strong Excel skills is a must.
• Good working knowledge of Excel;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Able to work well within a team as well as independently;
