Our well-established client is based in the Bellville area, Cape Town, and requires a hard working qualified SAIPA member to start as soon as possible.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Accounting Qualification
3 or more years experience (including articles)
Good experience in Excel, Word, Quickbooks and Caseware. Knowledge in Pastel advantageous.
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Own transport with valid driver’s license
Well organised with fine attention to detail
Positive attitude and willing to work hard; overtime may be necessary with certain SARS deadlines

Job Requirements:

Ensure Books are done correctly to Trial Balance & Balance sheet.
Take on a portfolio of clients & ensure that all their statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF) are managed and submitted timeously as well as any other work that is required
Handling of all SARS related queries
Handling of Workman’s Compensation as well as Provisional Tax
Handling of customer enquiries dealing with their accounting and tax issues
Data capturing of a portfolio of clients books at their premises
