KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Management of day to day financial activities within the business unit.
• Processing of monthly journals and completing monthly monthly reporting.
• Reviewing and reporting of working capital movement.
• Completing of monthly financial reports and forecasting of the month.
• Communicating corporate changes to different branches and ensuring compliance to new policies
• Meeting group and corporate monthly and yearly reporting deadlines.
• Completing tax schedules, calculations and communicating with group for authorisation.
• Completion of monthly general ledger reconciliations by the 15th of the month and investigate all recon variances and reporting these to management.
• Attendance of the stock count and fixed asset counts to ensure integrity of processes undertaken.
• Reconciling the fixed assets, stock, debtors and creditors sub ledgers to general ledger monthly.
• Completing yearly tax pack and communicating with corporate on queries.
• Completing monthly tax and vat submissions.
• Participating in internal control projects initiated from group.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• CIMA or CA Qualification.
• Auditing background recommended.
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial reporting Standards).

EXPERIENCE:
• 5-7 years working experience in a finance environment
• Experience with SQL-Syspro is recommended but not a pre-requisite
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in implementing internal controls at various levels of the organization.
• Completed articles

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Good communication skills a must
• Problem solver and have recruiting skills
• Microsoft – Advanced Excel- pivot tables, V-Lookups
• Be able to conduct an on-going systems refinement and audit process
• Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
• Be willing to travel- own transport a pre-requisite
