Our client who has just finished building a large solar plant near Upington in the Northern Cape has the following vacancy available until end June 2017 (contract may well be extended) at their plant near Groblershoop as:

FINANCIAL-/ ADMIN MANAGER
GROBLERSHOOP AREA

Requirements:
- A Finance/Commerce Diploma. A B.Com/Finance degree is a bonus, but not required with at least 3-5 years experience in a similar position
- Communicate well in English
- Computer literate in Excel, internet and emails
- Candidate should be comfortable to work independently and under pressure

Duties will include:
- Closing off monthly management accounts timeously and correctly.
- Paying suppliers timeously and being the central point for communication with them concerning invoicing and financial matters.
- Invoicing and collecting from the customer timeously.
- Invoicing and collection for providing services to shareholders
- Entering of all invoices onto eXpertis, and all financial accounts and adjustments on eXpertis.
- Recording of all bank and petty cash movements.
- Custody of petty cash float.
- Managing and recording of corporate credit cards.
- Liaising and providing necessary information to internal and external auditors.
- Paying all taxes timeously and liaison with SARS.
- Accurate and complete manual filing of all financial records.
- Being an effective communicator and provider of information within the Finance and Administration Department and with all the other departments – socio-economic development,
cost control, procurement, quality, production, HSE, warehouse and general services, and project management
- Managing the invoice approval system.
- Contributing positively to the remaining core team on site.

The candidate will start with core activities such as entering invoices onto eXpertis, making payments and recording bank movement. Eventually the aim is that they should perform all the activities above. He will be fully supported by the Claims Manager and the Financial Manager
