Background to Position

Our financial services provider is looking for Senior Financial Planners who will develop and build their own financial planning practices within our company, but also be able to manage and develop Junior Financial Planners within their teams.

We are ideally looking for individuals which have strong management and financial planning skills, who are interest in expanding their career from managing themselves to managing others.

Our firm’s core focus areas are Life Insurance, Investment-, Retirement Planning, and Retirement Fund (EB). It is vitally important that you have experience or keen interest in the above product lines, and have an established client base to work.

Duties

To prospect for clients/ to obtain leads to secure appointments - daily activity.
To conduct a professional FNA (financial needs analysis) to make needs based recommendation that could lead to a sale.
To achieve sales targets as set out by the company.
To build relationships with clients so that consultant wins confidence, credibility and trust.
Elicit information to maximize the effectiveness of a client’s portfolio. To secure 2nd appointment.
To give objective professional advice on client’s needs.
To portray the appropriate propriety in their target market.
To meet all legislative requirements.
To remain accredited and up to date with relevant market & industry related subjects.
To remain adequately equipped and knowledgeable regarding the latest technology.
To build a long-term professional, profitable practice

Desired Experience & Qualification

R50 000 Commission Monthly (AVG last 12 months)
NQF5 (FAIS) Qualification as minimum
RE 5 (non-negotiable) / RE 1 (advantage)
Tertiary qualification (beneficial)
CFP Post Grad (Advantage)
Valid driver’s license and own car
Clean Credit record and Criminal record (Essential)
Minimum of 2-3 years FAIS experience (Sales)
