The Role

Wealth Planners are Financial Advisors that are sales driven financial services professionals with a passion for prospecting, advising and servicing high net wealth (HNW) clients with a specific focus on their lump sum investments and estates planning needs. These client needs are achieved through our local and offshore Personal Share Portfolio (PSP) and Fund product offerings. The role is ideal for sales driven individuals to establish and build a career in a private client advisory environment which is achieved through growing an investment client book within the Company Regional Offices.Potential candidates who are able to bring over a book of client investment business will be offered an even more enhanced ongoing remuneration package.

The Right Person

The Right Person To be successful as a Wealth Planner for the Company, you will require the following:

• Experience and track record in high performance sales environments.

• Recognised tertiary qualification(s). Alternatively, will complete a recognised qualification within 6 years of appointment.

• PGDip Financial Planning/CFP® will be considered advantageous, but not a requirement for the role.• Written and passed RE5 – Representative Exam. Alternatively, will complete the exam within 2 years of appointment.

• Experience in investment advisory to clients as a wealth manager in the HNW segment will be considered advantageous, but not a requirement for the role.

• More experienced advisors will be considered in terms of their mutual value proposition and skill set.

• Strong sales, interpersonal and business development skills and acumen.

• Ability to demonstrate a high level of new business prospecting activity, particularly within the first quarter of appointment.

• Ability to grow an investment client book within the first 12 months and consistently thereafter.

• Currently has an investment client book that can be brought across with no restraint of trade sanctions. A client book will be considered advantageous but not necessary.

• Has a unique network in which they can attract and source private client business as well as IFAs that want to merge their investment client books into the company.

Remuneration

We provide the following to our Wealth Planners:

• R15 000 basic salary that increases to R20 000 per month, based on attainment of new business performance metrics.

• 80% of the ongoing Financial Advisor Agreement (FAA) fees.

• Additional ongoings payable should a book of investment be brought across.

• 50% of the upfront fees.

• 10% of executorship fees.
