We are actively recruiting for a seasoned Financial Analyst with 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role within the mining space. Your primary role will be to ensure financial discipline and provide sound financial management advice to the executive, and to provide support with financial processes including Internal Reporting, Capital Reporting, Cost Reporting, Planning, Analysis and Budgeting and Forecasting.

You will also meet the following Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting / Finance
• CIMA/CA/ACCA/CFA would be a strong advantage
• 3-4 years' experience in mining industry.
• Experience with SAP costing (CO Module) is essential
• Experience and understanding of systems used within the mines (KVD and rsquo)
• Ability to identify opportunities to be efficient & save costs
• Computer literacy (i.e, advanced excel)
• Analytical skills.
• Reporting writing skills

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Monthly cost reporting with commentary on variances to actuals, budgets and revised estimates.
• Maintenance of the costing reporting and allocation models for actuals, budgets and revised estimates
• Providing support for broader Finance team with regards to costing queries.
• Gaining an understanding of specific drivers that drive total cost.
• Supporting site leadership to effectively manage cost through accurate and on-time financial reporting;
• Reporting on operational unit cost variances and focusing leadership attention on most critical areas;
• Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts affected by costing processes and accruals;
• Execute and co-ordinate, for the Operation, budgeting and forecast processes and assistance to cost centre owners and leadership in completing their respective budgets and forecasts;
