Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Financial Analyst in Investment Division to be appointed in Centurion, Gauteng.

Purpose
Business and Financial analysis for both internal and external opportunities will be the main drive of this role. The job incumbent will be expected to research, analyse, present, negotiate and close synergistic business opportunities/investments for the company. The opportunities are to be aligned with the company strategy.

Key Performance Areas
• Follow key economic indicators, economic policies update and M&A transactions in Agriculture and FMCGs
• Gain knowledge and remain informed of developments within the sectors applicable to the company
• Study and analyse information influencing investment programs (price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risk)
• Review capital expenditure and investment application
• Assist in/manage the process of planning, organising, implementing and monitoring of investment opportunities
• Assist in due diligence process of assigned new ventures
Required Qualifications / Experience
• Preferably minimum Honours degree in Finance or Financial Management
• CA(SA) will be an advantage
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of the Foods Industry would be an advantage
• Strong business judgment and ability to deal with complex matters
• Knowledge of the legal and financial aspect of disposals and acquisitions
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, qualitative and quantitative skills
