International leader in the Automotive industry requires a qualified and passionate Financial Analyst to be based at their SANDTON corporate office.

The Financial Analyst role is responsible effective planning, co-ordination, analysis and interpretation of strategic and financial inputs received from business units within the National Sales Organisation (NSO). It supports the achievement of local and international reporting deadlines and NSO Finance Controlling objectives

KPI’s Include

Analysis and interpretation of all elements of the financial operating result of the Brand, encompassing turnover, incentives, direct costs. overheads, other income and expenses.
Preparation and analysis of all financial information with regards to the actual result, forecast, budget, planning round, schedule council. This would include, forecast input meeting input, Schedule Council, Finance Review Meetings, reporting and requests and all other relevant ad hoc reporting requirements as they may arise.
Co-ordinating compliance with the Fixed Business Model. This would entail detailed reporting requirements, regular monitoring and analysis of result and ensuring all requirements of the business model is adhered to and achieved.
Co-ordinating the implementation and analysis of strategies and initiatives with the financial implications these have on the NSO.
Ensuring compliance by Brand in respect of financial tasks, directives, initiatives and reporting as imposed.
Co-ordinating NSO financial forums and issuing vorlages.
Preparation of Vorlage for bi-annual NSO Business Review meeting with local BOM and Group Board members.
Preparation of NSO input for quarterly financial review meeting with shareholder.
Co-ordinating the preparation and consolidation of cost information for incorporation in the corporate budgets and medium-term planning
Coordination, analysis and assessment of various strategic projects and the interpretation of the results and impact on the NSO.
Minimum Requirements

A post-graduate qualification/ Honours degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Management will be preferred- NOT negotiable
Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 Years financial experience in motor or related industry.
Must be proficiency with comprehensive knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Sound understanding of financial principles.
Analytically minded with the ability and inclination to work accurately with financial detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively at all levels
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Be innovative, resourceful and action-orientated
Ability to work on own initiative and take accountability for own actions
A team player, yet be able to work and manage own output independently to meet high quality standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet set deadlines
