Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancy at ABI North Regional Office in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department. This position will report directly to the Senior Financial Analyst (Regional).

KEY PURPOSE

To provide accurate, relevant and timeous financial information that enhances commercial awareness and enables appropriate business decision making.

KEY OUTPUTS

• To ensure a simplified and standardised month end process is followed.
• Ensure that PTP processes are followed for completeness of data.
• Prepare high level first pass commentary.
• Preparation of standardised reporting packs for the various stake holders.
• Preparation of trend analysis, side by side, internal and external benchmarking data.
• Prepare detailed general ledger account analysis as required.
• Preparation of the regional business plans.
• Custodian of general ledger expense allocation.
• Reviewing and analyses of the monthly income statement.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly score cards.
• Ensure compliance to Sarbox, internal and external audit.
• Project work including cost saving initiatives.
• Provide detailed business analysis on cost drivers and revenue opportunities for the relevant function.
• Collating functional business reporting requirements and delivering on these requirements within the agreed SLA
• Detailed analysis of core functional costs and identify opportunities for reduction in these costs.
• Analysis of Benchmark data to determine best in class business practices. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum B.Com.Hons or CA(SA) or CIMA
• Minimum of four years relevant experience
