Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Financial Analyst to be appointed in Centurion, Gauteng.

Key Performance Areas
• Owner of the Groups monthly forecast models, the process of collecting information and the review of the divisional results
• Prepare written reports on overall economic trends within specific businesses or sectors
• Study and analyze information influencing investment decisions
• Provide recommendations to management for strategic business decisions based on findings from analysis of forecast model info, applying appropriate sector knowledge and assumptions obtained through research
• Provide advice to divisional finance team’s regarding the allocation of purchase price into IFRS 3 for all acquisitions made by the Group
• Responsible for the Group’s impairment testing models
• Responsible for the calculation of the weighted average cost of capital for the Group’s and its respective business units
• Pre- and post-implementation reviews of capital expenditure & investments decisions as well as the review of documents submitted to the Group’s investment committee
• Respond to various internal requests for financial information
• Participate in the preparation of key financial presentations to senior management
• Perform valuations of the Group’s business when required

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Qualified CA (SA)
• Articles at one of the Big 4 audit firms with exposure to valuations and impairment calculations
• Private equity or Corporate Finance experience during or post articles
• An outstanding academic record
• Action orientated and deadline driven
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Advance Excel skills of absolute importance
