Financial Analyst, Midrand, Salary Negotiable 


The role of the Financial Analyst – Operations is to review and analyze the Financial Result (Sales, Cost of Sales, UM, OPEX, Capital) and coordinate and drive the forecasting process of an Ericsson organization in accordance with global standards, proactively ensuring a high level of quality in the reported result. In addition, the role is required to actively support the Head of Operations in business strategy formulation and evaluation, adding value as a “CFO” of the operations division.
     
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibility Areas
·         Support VP Operations as part of the Leadership Team
·         Support VP Operations with strategic business decisions and operational improvements and strategies
·         Review and analysis of financial performance on a recurring basis vs. forecast/target
·         Analysis of local Cost of Sales and local actual cost per G/L account
·         Review and analysis of local unadjusted margin
·         Review and analysis of unadjusted margin consolidated per MU/ KAM/ BU/ PA/ P-Code
·         Review and analysis of adjustments to Cost of Sales and OPEX at MU level per MU/ KAM/ BU vs. forecast/target
·         Cost center and time reporting analysis
·         Analysis of inventory report per MU/ KAM/ G/L account
·         Analysis of account receivables per MU/ KAM vs. forecast/target
·         Review and analysis of working capital and adjusted A/R ratios
·         Coordination of the forecasting process through the MUFC tool
·         Support to cost center process
·         Ability to travel in the Region a pre requisite
   
QualificationsQualifications

EDUCATION       A degree in Business Administration (Accounting)or the equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE       5 - 10 years strong Financial Management background
