A reputable company is looking for an experienced and qualified Financial and Admin Manager.

The ideal candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative, accounting and executive support related tasks and must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organised, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. This person will report to the Company Directors.

SALARY
Market-related with 13th cheque

RESPONSIBILITIES (FINANCIAL)
* Ensure correct record-keeping, processing and administrative handling of all financial information in line with company guidelines;
* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports (including annual budgets) in line with business expectations;
* Prepare all monthly financial figures for financial meetings with partners
* Prepare financials to submit to Accountants for auditing;
* To provide accurate pricing, costing and information across a range of products;
* Responsible for the smooth-running of administration at head office and branch offices throughout the country, which includes purchase of office supplies, furniture, equipment, maintenance etc.
* Oversee and manage clerks in all matters in the accounts and admin department;
* Control cash flow and EFT payments on a daily basis;
* Control daily all monies received, with debtors’ clerk. (Accounts Receivable);
* Print & view bank statement daily with debtors’ clerk;
* Pay all monthly creditors. (Accounts Payable);
* Pay all cash purchases daily and manage all financial inter-company transfers;
* Responsible for payroll (weekly & monthly), recruitment, performance appraisals and training development;
* Communicate & work closely with company Business Banker iro all company banking
* Manage Property bond accounts;
* Manage Petty cash accounts for all branches;
* Prepare VAT figures monthly;
* Furnish Accountants with figures on - monthly salaries, VAT, PAYE, UIF, and SDL;
* Ensure that all Company Secretarial documents for group of companies, private companies and Directors Trusts are compliant;
* All SARS documents to be prepared timeously. Visit SARS to resolve queries;

RESPONSIBILITIES (HUMAN RESOURCES / ADMINISTRATIVE)
* All HR-related matters and work closely with Labournet (includes monthly meetings with Labournet to maintain employment equity records);
* Oversee that all personnel files are updated and correct.
* Maintain and ensure implementation of company policies and procedures and code of conduct;
* Issue warnings and handle disciplinary hearings. Chair hearings where necessary;
* Monitor and manage company telephone system and internet usage;
* Ensure that companies are annually BBBEE compliant and endeavour for the lowest score card;
* Prepare all Health & Safety files and work closely with Managers to update and maintain files;
* Initiate medicals required are updated timeously;
* Full responsibility of fleet management, leases of premises, logistics and company insurance;
* Advise on the maintenance of the premises and ensure that buildings comply with health & safety regulations;
* Monitor company security. Armed/disarmed daily and emergency calls;
* Organize all company functions and entertainment for the office and clients;
* Employee uniforms for the company;
* Oversee advertising & promotional goods with Sales Department.
* Keep partners diary and assist with PA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree/Diploma in Accounting and/or Office Administration;
* 8 years+ experience in a management environment;
* Experience in invoicing, banking and costing;
* Work under minimum supervision and achieve deadlines;
* Sound knowledge of payroll systems;
* Computer literate;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Must be able to manage staff and be a good team player;
* Results orientated, highly organised and driven to succeed;
* Strong customer focus and high level customer service ethics;
* Highly autonomous with the ability to work on own initiative;
* Able to confidently articulate complex business solutions.
