A Leading Asset Based Finance Company based in Sandton is looking for a Finance and Treasury Accountant.

The incumbent will be responsible for controlling all loan payment interest. The incumbent will manage and maintain all bank accounts associated with the Organisation. The incumbent will be responsible to provide reports on deals and performs the deal administration.

Requirements:-

* B degree in Accounting
* at least 4 years experience in a Financial Accounting environment
* post articles experience - advantageous.
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Criminal and credit clear.

Competencies

* Checks and controls the interest payments made on behalf of the Organisation.
* Ensures that all loan applications are captured correctly on the system.
* Checks and controls the cash payments and performs the necessary reconciliation.
* Controls all bank accounts and quality checks all entries processed through the General Ledger.
* Checks and controls the entries for loans, interests, accruals and payments made, ensuring all entries were captured correctly.
* Implements business processes according to Company benchmarks.
* Reviews and reports on performance of business process.
* Analyses the internal service delivery processes and makes changes to comply with best practices.
* Reviews and modifies tasks and responsibilities to achieve business process improvements.
* Monitors and controls the quality of business processes that render services in terms of defined standards.
* Prepares and delivers reports on the interest rate risks and provide recommendations on possible future changes to the interest rate.
* Provides a bank facility report indicated the usage levels of the facility.
* Provides reports on the offshore versus local borrowings.
* Prepares the ALCO Committee packs and obtains information to create the packs from various internal and external systems.
* Performs the necessary data analysis regarding the performance of the Organisation and captures the information into the pack.
