Reporting into the Group Accountant of a highly regarded investment house the successful incumbent must have as a minimum a basic understanding of Accounting i.e. what credits and debits are, and how to do journals and strong Excel skills – intermediate level.

Role to include:
• Processing of client payments
• Reconciliations - VAT reconciliations and Rebate service level agreements reconciliation
• Updating intercompany loan accounts daily
• Team stationary requests and journals
• Filing and take responsibility for the store room
• Vendor creations and approvals
• Bookkeeping
• SAP journals for cash focus payments

Performance driven, pro-active and with the ability to work under pressure you have strong problem-solving and analysis skills.

Qualifications and experience:
• At least 2 years’ experience within the financial services industry/ linked product industry in a similar role
• Computer skills (MS Excel Intermediate Level)

Advantageous
• A financial qualification
• 3 years audit articles
