Our client is looking for a Financial Controller / Financial Manager to hit the ground running within a fast pace dynamic environment.

Job Specification;

• Consolidated working capital analysis and tracking
• Due to the growth and regular purchasing of new acquisitions to the group, it is an environment with constant change
• Problem solver and be able to communicate between various departments
• Weekly cash flow forecast and analysis reporting
• Ensuring accounting records are updated and accruals are complete before management accounts are released.
• Monthly compiling of provisions and balance sheet review
• Ensure sufficient FEC coverage for import payments to foreign suppliers and balancing of FEC deals
• Accounting for gains/losses on open FEC’s
• IFRS calculations – goods in transit, straight lining of leases, revaluation of inventory/COS to be compliant with IFRS
• Reviewing foreign supplier payment reconciliations
• Ensuring accurate costing of inventory, capitalizing freight and import duties
• Analysis of BOM’s to ensure inventory is accurately recorded
• Audit preparation and ensuring audits are completed within tight deadline for group
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliation as well as sub-ledger to GL reconciliations
• Drawing up and implementing new standard operating procedures
• Ensuring BEE audit is completed timeously and effectively
• Identifying and fixing system based errors
• Taking ownership of new accounting based projects
• Any ad-hoc reporting to Holding company

Computer Literate

Experience within a FMCG environment
