Job Description:

Our client a start-up manufacturing company supplying product to high street retailers and chain stores is looking to add to their already successful team. They have an additional requirement for a Financial Controller / Cost Accountant with the relevant educational background and an experience base and skill set which will aid the company through innovation, common sense and a talent for numbers.

As a Financial Controller / Cost Accountant you will be responsible for:

The full bookkeeping function

Books to balance sheet and the ability to draft an annual financial statement

VAT and Tax calculations

Full responsibility for all debtors and creditors

Payroll

Price variance analysis

Stock takes and inventory

Managing people as and when necessary

Recognize ways to lower expenses and analyse monthly and annual budgets

Preparation of cash flow statements and accounts

Conducting on-going process constraint analysis

Managing costs and variances effectively and reporting them to the MD accordingly
