One of our IT clients is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of Financial Controller and become a part of their team
Main Purpose:
• To drive, monitor and analyse the financial performance of the company area based on agreed key performance indicators to minimize financial risks and exposure and maximize financial results.

Description of responsibilities:
• To support management in the implementation, improvement and maintenance of policies and processes:
• Budget and Forecast process: Drive internal and external budget/forecast process of company to obtain details and sign off (commitments) from all units
• Adherence to internal and external guidelines (IFRS, commission policy, signature policy, company laws etc)
• Assist and support management in providing Processes/Procedures for business cases (financial input) (For Service Lines)
• To assist in managing risks and opportunities, by identification of risks in company operational Controlling
• To report to internal and external stakeholders, by promoting financial understanding and conscience in business decisions
• To support management to review, measure and report on Actual, Budgets and Forecasting in order to provide feedback and advise on deviating performance, to raise risks on target achievements and initiate measures to ensure performance back on track such as: working paper management; liaise with relevant stakeholders within other sub-areas of Finance e.g. Corporate Finance; etc
• Take responsibility for special effects applications in alignment with Business Manager(s) and International
• Take ownership of revenue and cost reviews and closure of all outstanding items
• Constant alignment with TSI targets, reporting requirements and monthly/weekly alignment calls
• Ad hoc support and controlling requirements e.g. rate card management, structure changes, account clean-up, etc

Qualifications and experience required:
• 3-4 Years work experience in a financial field
• Tertiary Financial qualification – Bcom Accounting Degree or equivalent
• Microsoft Office proficiency – Excel, Word and Outlook
