My client, a distinguished, well-established international company within the Renewable Energy sphere, is looking for a CA(SA) / ACMA coming out of a Manufacturing concern, at their plant on the outskirts of the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is NOT a BEE requirement role, so if you have got the necessary skills and qualification, this might just be that opportunity that you have been looking for! The required profile will be that of a CA(SA) / ACMA qualified individual with 3 – 5 years’ Financial Accountant / Financial Management experience. Coming from a Manufacturing environment and possessing SAP FI, SAP CO working experience will be highly desirable.

Job Description:

This highly desired position within such a winning industry was created to be responsible for the supervision of accounting, tax and cost controlling activities and function as a support to the FM in all matters of the financial department, including implementing and monitoring of internal controls, aligned to group directive.

The position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Applying accounting principles in adherence to IFRS, including FOREX

Journals

Stock

Ad-hoc projects with the FM

Financial modeling including Forecasts, budgets and viability calculations

Preparation of financial information and assisting with the administration of insurance

Supporting with system enhancements, etc.
