In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team and provide advice, guidance and support to management and staff.
Qualification:
BCom / BCom Hons Accounting
Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant
Skills & Experience:
2 – 4 years related experience
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills
IFRS knowledge
Experience with budgets and forecasts
Knowledge of VAT, PAYE and Company Tax
Consolidation knowledge
Experience in year-end Audits
Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
Ability to work well within a team
Deadline and target driven
Time management skills

Job Description:
Cost and management accounting including variance analysis, feasibility studies, budgeting and forecasting
Managing a team of creditors, debtors, treasury clerks and general admin clerks
Conducting performance reviews
Development of best practice and streamlining financial reporting controls
Control of stock and WIP
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare audit files
Internal audit support
Compliance audit preparation
Supporting auditors on annual audit
Procurement of fixed assets
Liaise with Banks and Vendors
Prepare lease invoices to cost centres
Updating fixed asset register with monthly acquisitions, depreciation and sales
Insurance claims
Updating lease interest schedules
Prepare revenue reconciliation submitted to management for review
Submission of BEE procurement spend
Prepare quarterly forecasts and budgets for cost centres
Consolidate forecasts and budgets
Prepare income statements and variance analysis reports
Prepare and consolidate group reporting
Consolidating of group flash reports
Daily cash balance reports
Authorization of payments
Uploading payments onto bank
Review debtors and creditors ageing
Updating cash flow forecasts with expenses and receipts
