My Centurion based client is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their winning team.

The main purpose of this position is to be accountable for the accounting operations of all/allocated legal entities. Of importance is the maintenance of adequate systems and accounting records and by enhancing the accuracy of the company’s financial results.
Finally to ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards


QUALIFICATIONS AND AFFILIATIONS
? NQF level 7
? Registered with SAICA as a qualified CA(SA)
? Credit and Crim clear
? Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
? Fluent in English and Afrikaans
? Advanced Excel a must

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (please note this is a summary and not a detailed Job Disctiption)

? Reviewing of balance sheet reconciliations performed by multiple accounting departments
? Monthly calculation of management estimates (obsolete stock, bad debts, leave, development cost, accruals)
? Assist with monthly management accounts
? Directing, training, supervising and appraising finance department
? Assist with annual financial statements/consolidations preparation (reconciliation and gathering of relevant information
? To identify gaps in controls and find opportunities for improvement
? Reviewing of journals
? Preparation of audit journal entries
? To contribute as appropriate in the year-end financial audit with external auditors
? Review and releasing of payments
? Financial year ends
? Monthly and ad-hoc payments
? Financial year ends
