MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
Within the framework of the Financial Department’s objectives and yearly action plans, his/her missions are to:
Manage the relevant sectors allocated within the Financial Accounting department.
Maintain all financial records in the SAP general ledger and associated systems.
Produce monthly SAP FC management accounts for the respective reporting entities.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the relevant sectors allocated within the Financial Accounting department
Manage the relevant accounting sectors allocated to him/her.
Manage the timeous completeness and accuracy of all SAP general ledger input, in particular manual input.
Manage the interaction between your business unit and the BU Controllers to ensure compliance to statutory and group accounting standards, IAS/IFRS accounting & process narratives.
Review the quality and accuracy of all balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis to ensure appropriate corrective actions take place.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
CA (SA) – qualified, with four years post articles experience.
Performed articles in one the international firm of chartered accountants (Big Four Firms)

TECHNICAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Sound knowledge of current IAS / IFRS SAP & SAP FC experience mandatory
South African Tax knowledge (Vat & Corp Tax)
