In providing support to the Finance Manager, the The Financial / Cost Controller will perform be responsible for the financial management of the company from a strategic point of view. The successful incumbent will be required to ensure that the business is profit is maximised and achieving the targets towards the Group and shareholders. Job Description

Ensuring the accuracy of accounting and controlling of the information held in and reported to the accounting system.
Supporting the MD by developing and delivering of the financial and business strategies.
Responsible for the BEE for the transformation and then management of the new employees on the financial and administrative aspect.
Continuously reviewing of financial, control and management of information systems and procedures.
Following up on orders from booking to completion thereof
Following up on inventories of the warehouse
Following up on all productive hours allocated to projects
Providing advice, support and coaching on financial issues to the organization staff directly
Assisting in the production of the year-end accounts, schedules, and liaison with the auditors.
Investigating of all orders from their bookings to their completion
Developing and maintaining of programme and project reporting and management programs as needed.
Knowledge and experience of relevant financial processes
Effective liaison with external auditors with regards to completed year-end audits
Ensuring the correct revenue is identified and that the correct costs are classified and followed up on.
Responsible for general administrative agreements and corporate law matters
Provide support to the project teams, finance teams and business development teams, acting as the central point between the Finance function and other department
Preparation of accruals and prepayment journal entries
Recording, classifying, analyzing, summarizing, allocating various alternative courses of action for the control of costs
Project follow-up, review, follow-up of gross margin (Maintain Open Order Book)
Stock follow-up and reconciliation
Preparation of monthly management reports
Preparation of cash flow forecast
Preparation of monthly activity report/timing plan
Support and preparation of budget process

Minimum Requirements

BCom Financial Accounting Degree
At least 2 - 3 years working experience with cost analysis, variance reporting, management of projects and manufacturing costs
Proven working experience as Financial Controller
Must have an auditing background
Participative in Overall Business Strategies
SAP B1, MS Word, MS Excel Computer Literacy is required
Drivers licence and own transport
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
