Multi-National Imports/Exports company, based in Pretoria North, has a new opportunity for a business orientated, analytical Financial Manager :  Africa (EE).  Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.  Report to the MD and be responsible for the overall financial function in the entities mainly operating in a domestic market with an important sales volume. Consolidate capital assets, maintenance and company operating budgets, interpret operating budgets for availablility of funds prior to commitment and exercise accounting control to ensure that budgeted operating expenditures do not exceed amounts authorized, interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the company and make specific recommendations which will result in cost reduction and profit improvement.  Direct the preparation of statistics for periodic and yearly financial statements. Thorough understanding of IFRS, knowledge of statutory accounting principles, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, financial modelling expertise advantageous; ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to plan, implement and administer financial information and control systems; knowledge of the principles, processes and standarads for integrated financial analysis and reporting, understanding of SAP and Cognos; knowledge of pricing / budgeting tools and how to reflect operational changes in the tools; multiple currency exposure ie. Euro, USD, ZAR, SEK and others.
