Well known international and technical manufacturer based on the East Rand, requires a qualified CA with a minimum of 4-5 years post articles experience as Financial Manager. This position reports to the FD. Individual must have experience in high volume environment / heavy manufacturing industry.

Review of weekly cash flow
Approve all capital expenditure
Creation, management, implementation and monitoring of the budget for the Division
Ensure that all payments made must be authorised and genuine.
Month end Financial Reporting
Review of the forecast and actual reports for Parts, Workshop, Machine forecast and SAP reports
Monthly review of income statement and balance sheet on Cognos
Monthly variance analysis between actual, forecast and budget results
Review on branch results
Review IFRS calculations
Monthly provision calculations for Parts and machine stock provisions, provision for bad debt, extended warranties and core provisions
Review of general ledger reconciliations
Review of Tax pack and calculation
Review of monthly vat calculation
Liaison with auditors
Review and approval of salaries
Review of debtors reports and aging
Review of journals and credit notes via workflow on SAP
Preparation and review of Quarterly forecasts including profit bridge analysis and Cognos reports,
Strategic Plans including profit bridge analysis and Cognos reports
Commentary for forecasts and strategic plan
Finance Lease calculations and reconciliation of debtors adjustment account
Implementing and monitoring internal controls
