Our client a leader in the export of grapes and other fruit has a position available for a strong above averaged candidate with experience in the fruit farming industry.

FINANCIAL MANAGER/ CA

Requirements:
- Minimum B.Com Accounting qualification, qualification as CA will be to your advantage
- At least 3-5 years post articles experience in fruit farming
- Knowledge of fruit farming export system will be to your advantage
- Computer literate in Advanced Excel and Pastel

- Technical knowledge of IFRS and Farm accounting

- Passion for fruit farming and understanding the business
- Ability to travel between farms

Key Responsibilities:
- Overall financial management of 8 grape farms totaling 500 hectare
- Monthly management accounts in accordance with IFRS
- Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow management
- Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Year- end audits as well as Annual Financial Statement and status requirements
- Capital expenditure/ projects/ replants and new developments
- Responsible for sound internal controls over all financial function
- Ad hoc administrative requirements and shareholder reporting
- Leadership to the administrative and farm offices.
