Our client is recruiting for and Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years commercial experience. Based at its Stellenbosch office, the job incumbent will support the Chief Financial Officer in managing and scaling the companyâ??s global finance function.

 Responsibilities:

• Processing of all financial transactions, including customer billing;
• Preparation of financial reconciliations on a monthly basis;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for presentation to the Board of Directors;
• Processing of payroll;
• Managing the company’s employee expense reimbursement process;
• Processing of vendor payments;
• Drafting of certain legal agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, contractor agreements and customer agreements;
• Managing secretarial and statutory compliance, including preparation and filing of annual reports with the assistance of company secretarial vendors;
• Managing financial statement audits and BEE audits; and
• Designing new processes and improving on existing processes in place in order to keep up with a fast-growing organization.

Requisite experience and qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant;
• Two years’ post-article experience in a Financial manager;
• Experience in statutory secretarial compliance;
• Experience in reviewing and drafting commercial legal agreements;
• Exposure to South African tax legislation on a practical level, including the preparation and filing of returns with SARS;
• An up-to-date understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards;
• A good understanding of suitable financial controls and their implementation and execution;
• Experience in invoicing and debtor management; and
• Experience in financial modelling.
