EE candidate with CA(SA) qualification and at least 1 years’ experience, required to start with this national Insurer.

Minimum requirements:
• CA(SA) – completed articles with 1 year experience
• Knowledge of accounting systems required – Pastel Evolution

Responsibilities:
• Implement and coordinate process and finance information system change and enhancements
• Monitor and report on financial performance re profitability
• Analyse cash flow, cost controls and expenses and advise/implement cost saving strategies
• Management and reporting on all financial areas of the business
• Trend analysis and business metrics to advise on business decisions and profitability
• Track individual departments against budget – income and expense
• Oversee and approves processing of revenue and expenditure
• Coordinate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Establish and maintain internal control safeguards
• Manage credit control process
• Support CFO with investor relations – reporting and presentations
• Oversee and manage Risk Management plan
• Compliance
• Oversee and management the procurement function
• Manage and oversee budget process
• Relationship building and maintenance with all stakeholders
• Manage and oversee the financial management and profitability of business
• Business forecasts and analysis
• Performance management of Finance Team
• Serve on various committees
• Oversee and take part in audit process with external auditors
