An exciting role as stand-in FM for one of the most profitable listed holding companies in South Africa. This is a 6-7 Month Contract requiring the skills of an established CA (SA) to assist mainly with Accounting and Reporting, Audit, VAT and Tax. There are Bookkeepers to assist with the basic Bookkeeping and your role will report into the Group FM and the FD on certain aspects. This is a great way to be noticed by a big player on the JSE. Previously Disadvantaged Individuals will get first consideration.



Qualification:

CA (SA) with 3 years Commercial experience

Newly Qualified CA (SA)s will be considered



Skills & Experience:

IFRS Reporting

Experience in Medium-sized Audit firms preferred

Strong Excel and ERP Systems experience

Previous corporate reporting experience highly advantageous

Job Description:

Review of monthly management accounts.

Preparation of adjusting journals for routine and complex transactions.

Ensuring Head Office companies’ compliance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, etc.) for all financial reporting.

Managing the external auditors’ requirements and deliverables for the above companies.

Preparation of all supporting information for the annual audit and liaising with the auditors from the planning to sign-off stage.
Review of annual financial statements for all Head Office companies.

Reporting specified outputs to Group Reporting Manager where required.

Tax filings, admin and computations.

Ad-hoc duties.
