The Position involves these deliverables:
• Meet all financial accounting objectives including forecasting; preparing budgets; analyzing variances; identifying areas for cost reduction and initiating corrective actions.
• Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Lead horse-rides, ensuring guests are informed of the history of the Waterberg, the flora and the fauna.
• Organize and host overnight safaris, polocrosse, western games, jumping and equestrian activities.
• Bring horses in from the camps, check general health and take temperature
• Groom, tack up and ensure appropriate equipment used eg. Bandages for polocrosse
• Support and educate junior guides in all areas of equestrian operation

The ideal candidate requires:
• A completed honors Degree in business Administration or NQF8 equivalent
• Must have held a position of a Finance manager for at least 10 years’
• Must have completed RSA endorsed certificates in the stable and yard skills
• Must have at least 10 years of Equestrian tour guiding experience
• Must have advance proficiency working with PASTEL V9, Ms word, outlook and excel including look ups and pivot tables
