Our client is a manufacturer for the export and local market and form part of a JSE listed Group. They are now looking to hire a Financial Manager at their factory in Epping, Cape Town.

The position will report directly to the Divisional Managing Director in Cape Town with a strong indirect reporting line to the Corporate office in Johannesburg.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monthly Financial Reporting
Cost Accounting
Quarter and Year End
Risk Management
Internal Control
Company Secretarial duties
Ad hoc projects
Staff Management


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Accounting / Financial Management
Completed SAICA articles
Registered CA (SA) or completed CIMA will be a definite advantage.
Two to three-year post article experience gained in a manufacturing or FMCG environment


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Strong ERP knowledge (preferably SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Sage 3 or SAP B1).
Extensive MS Office knowledge, especially Excel advanced.
Very strong technical accounting knowledge is a requirement.

The remuneration package is negotiable and will be negotiated in line with qualifications and experience.
