A manufacturer of high-end quality men’s footwear in Pietermaritzburg, KZN is looking to appoint a qualified Financial Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working at a manufacturing concern.
Duties
• Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts, EVR’s and other monthly reports as well as to post monthly entries into the GL. Reconcile the balance sheet on monthly basis.
• Assist in the consolidation of financial results in accordance with IFRS and liaise with the auditors in this regard.
• Creation, implementation and improvement of financial and credit controls.
• Monthly revenue, profitability, trend and balance sheet reporting.
• Implement/Measure relevant reporting KPI’s to measure performance against strategic objectives.
• Facilitation of the budgeting process.
• Provide support in the preparation of Board Reports.
• Supervise the staff of the financial department and provide back office support with payroll, debtors and creditors issues.
Requirements
• B Com Accounting Degree / Honours.
• Recently qualified CIMA will be an advantage
• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing related financial manager role.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
• Working knowledge of various accounting packages.
