Position: FINANCIAL MANAGER - MANUFACTURING (EE)

A very well established Group has a vacancy in one of their divisions for an experienced Financial Manager. You will be reporting into the Managing Executive and will manage a small finance team.

Your responsibilities will include the controlling and coordinating all aspects of the accounting services for the division.

Your main function will be that of a financial manager with the emphasis on the Financial Accounting but seeing that there is no cost accountant in the structure, the costing will form part of your functions. We will therefore only consider applicants with previous Accounting experience from a manufacturing background.

Minimum requirements & skills:
• Completed Financial degree
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a manufacturing environment, overseeing a small finance department,
• Thorough knowledge of tax legislation and commercial law principles;
• Experience of costing with experience in preferably both, but either a standard or a FIFO costing environment;

The responsibilities of the position will include:
• management and preparation of Company accounts
• assisting with costing
• overseeing the preparation of monthly and annual books
• financial reporting
• preparing and monitoring the implementation of Company budgets
• attending to and overseeing internal and external audits
