A fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid management accountant to join this well known manufacturer based on the East Rand
Please note!!! Candidates MUST have at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Duties will be but not limited to:
• Ensure overall compliance to IFRS
• Monthly stock evaluation and recons
• To compile company tax and complete tax returns
• To assist with review and verification of Budgets and Forecasts
• To review volume rebate calculations as well as sales rep commissions
• To prepare monthly management reports, interim and year end audits
• Prepare cash flow reports
• To monitor and analyse gross profit margins of all products across all customers of the company as well as updating of pricing
• To monitor and analyse price position in all company markets
• To monitor and analyse product volume movements related to pricing changes
• To liaise with Technical and Logistics/Purchasing personnel regarding re-sourcing and improving cost pricing of products where and when required, and to monitor progress of such
• To administrate and maintain all price lists and price contracts in accordance with senior management’s guidelines and company policies
• To administrate and maintain incentive rebate schedules
• To perform ad hoc duties as and when required
Skills requirements:
• Good grasp of pricing-related financial concepts
• Strong data analysis skills
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and resourceful.
• High level of computer literacy, knowledge of SYSPRO will be a distinct advantage
Qualification requirements:
• B Com / Diploma in Finance and or Costing
• Strong Management accounting background with excellent MS Excel experience
• Ability to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
• Minimum of 5 years costing and/or pricing as well as tax related financial experience - in a manufacturing environment experience is preferred
Salary:
Salary negotiable depending on experience from R416 000 to R520 000 p.a
including benefits
