Our client in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape that offers the support structure to three manufacturing concerns within the group, needs a capable, experienced and responsible person within the financial department in for the challenging position of Financial Manager.


DUTIES:

Full supervision of the accounting dept incl. debtors, creditors, general ledger, banks, VAT, financial leases, etc.

Drafting, analysis, interpretation and reporting of financial statements

Accruals and provisions; fixed assets and depreciation

Intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Company Tax and IFRS

Liaison with auditors/ banks

Handling of all costing matters (investigate variances, update costing, monitor critical factors, etc)

Daily cash flow management


SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Syspro : 3 to 4 years
Cost and management accounting : 4 to 5 years
Accpac accounting software : 3 to 4 years
Financial management and support : 4 to 5 years
Company tax : 3 to 4 years



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in Cost and

Management Accounting

Knowledge of company tax and IFRS - NB

Minimum 2-4 years in similar role within manufacturing environment

MS Excel (min Intermediate level); MCBA / Accpac / Syspro or any

similar accounting package

An honest individual with integrity, also being deadline driven and detail orientated

A strong sense of business acumen within the manufacturing and engineering industry


SALARY
R 35 000 - R 40 000 basic per month plus
medical aid benefit and pension fund - depending on experience and skill
