Description: A food production facility requires an experienced Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director. Responsibilities will include but is not limited to: full responsibility for the entire financial function of the group of companies; improve the financial systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s vision, mission and objectives – support better management and financial reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning; manage and improve the human resources administration within functional area; play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward financial growth and profitability and striving for excellence in the finance department through training and employee development; ensure the company and group of company’s trade within the parameters of local and national legislation, especially the Companies Act and IFRS; ensure the profitability and long term sustainability of the company and make recommendations where necessary; ensure that Financial Performance indicators such as Gross profit, Cost of sales and turnover is reported, analyzed and explanation given for variances; develop and implement necessary internal control measures, policies and procedures for the optimum function of the finance department and ensuring accurate and timely results presented in a professionally drafted report to the board of directors; take full responsibility for the entire Financial Team and be accountable for the same; develop, present and implement business and financial growth strategies to members of Board of Directors; provide support and costing calculations and options to drive marketing, exposure and advertising campaigns in thereby enhancing brand presence and recognition; establish, enhance and nurture business relationships with all stakeholders; keep updated on changes in legislation, financial reporting and international standards.

Key Requirements: Relevant Degree plus honours. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Additional Requirements: Fully computer literate; MS Navision will be an advantage.

Remuneration: Market related.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
