A Financial Manager opportunity is now available in a national Hospitality and Leisure company. A well-known company with head office based in Cape Town is looking to add to their Financial Management team. This opportunity requires a hardworking, strong character; hospitality experienced transactional Financial Manager with a Tertiary qualification.

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Financial Manager with an accounting qualification, preferably a Financial Manager keen to work in the hospitality and leisure sector. This is an open role and will be working with a very lucrative, fresh and fun environment. Hospitality experience is essential.

The role is a permanent role reporting directly to the General Manager and Group Financial Managers

Ideally having come from a reputable hotel brand or boutique hospitality environment

The successful incumbent will play an active role in the implementation of some systems, as well as financial structures, delegation and people management of an eclectic mix of talent

A strong mind set and personality will stand you in good stead to build the required relationships

Fidelio, Opera and Pastel experience is beneficial and to some degree essential

The position is a challenging one and will require good knowledge of the cash book, all debtors and creditors functions including recons. Books to Balance Sheet, Journals and Management reports

Nationwide relations, including some corporate actions and compliance experience is beneficial

Knowledge of Tax and Vat is a benefit

Knowledge of the full accounting function is non negotiable; Good attention to detail will win you the opportunity

3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Interviews commencing on the 14th 15th and 16th April 2014. Do not delay!
