Our client in Paarl is looking for a Financial Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
• BCom Degree as minimum post grad qualification
• 5-7 years commercial experience
• CA qualification and/or Cost management accounting experience will be advantageous
• Experience within the fresh produce industry will be advantageous ( incl system experience with Dipar or similar )
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Pastel
• Advanced Excel skills

TASKS:
• Full FM Function from authorising payments, to system design.
• Part of senior management.
• Budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting.
• Management of team of 8
• Cash flow management
• Leadership of the design and adoption of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Production and analysis of the weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Work closely with the MD to provide financial and operational support.
• Key liaison with all stakeholders where necessary. This includes shareholders, suppliers, customers, auditors, banks.
• Ad hoc duties to ensure risks and opportunities are being addressed.
