Our client, a leading national company in Logistics, is looking for a Financial Manager to start in January 2016.

Position will include (but not limited to):

• Manage financial and administration departments
• Cash flow analysis and cash management
• Responsible for accurate and complete general ledger accounting and review of all balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to Head Office
• Ensuring sound financial controls are in place and adhered to Monthly payroll review
• Tax administration including submission of EMP201 and VAT201 returns
• Review of fixed asset register and CAPEX requests to head office
• Assistance with annual budget
• Income tax calculations
• Review monthly BEE procurement report submissions
• Mentor and coach subordinates
• Co-ordinate and assist with the internal and external audits
• Ad hoc reports and projects as required

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) will be an advantage, or BCom degree
• At least 2 -3 years’ experience in financial management field
• Experience in logistics field will be an advantage
• Meticulous, detailed, well-organised and able to work independently and under pressure with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Assertive with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills in order to adhere to strict deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power-Point)

Salary: R500 000 – R700 000
