My client in the manufacturing sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Manager. The ideal incumbent will come out of a Production or Manufacturing environment and must have had exposure to Costing and have managed a small finance team.



Qualification:

Degree

CIMA (advantageous)



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years overall Accounting

Previous Financial Management experience

Strong personality



Job Description:

Manage the full financial function, including (but not limited to):

Weekly cash flow preparation and cash management and debtor and creditor management

Prepare monthly income and balance sheet statements

Preparation of monthly and annual reports

Stock control

Liaising with group auditors and ensuring all audit files have been compiled

Review VAT and EMP201 returns before submissions

Managing the tax compliance in conjunction with the company’s tax advisors

Compile annual budgeting and forecasting schedules

Implementation and management of internal control systems and new processes to provide greater efficiency and insight

Liaise with all Group FM’s in terms of managing inter-company payments, receipts and balances
