Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for a Financial Manager.The responsibilities are extensive and varied, however, you will primarily be accountable for the overall financial efficiency of the groups properties on behalf of and to the satisfaction of the owners.

Responsibilities:

As the Financial Manager the responsibilities are extensive and varied, however, you will primarily be accountable for:

Financial and Operational Management

Managing finance department staff.

Review all payments to be made.

Monitor Accounting Tickets and follow up on a weekly basis.

Monitor outstanding debtors and follow up on a weekly basis.

Review monthly financial reporting to partners. 

Review all monthly VAT returns.

Attending to all VAT reviews.

Oversee monthly processing of all properties at a higher level.

Oversee the preparation of the Financial Manco Report.

Prepare the Exco Report.

Review lease documents to ensure correctly captured on the system.

Oversee the processes to be followed when new properties are acquired.

Prepare tax planning for provisional tax payments.

Prepare the consolidation.

Prepare annual financial statements and tax calculations.

Manage audit process.

Review tax returns for all companies.

Assist financial director with managing cash flow.

Assist with the preparation of the ten year budget.

Operate within the mandate / authority levels allocated.

Ad hoc financial projects and duties as and when required.
