Our client in the Building industry is recruiting for a Financial Manager to join their team in Worcester.

 

MAIN TASKS:

  • Will be reporting directly to the owner
  • Ensuring timeous accounts close-off on a monthly basis, sticking to deadlines where required.
  • Periodic reconciliations 
  • Performing the compilation of monthly management reports.
  • Budget and profitability management
  • Employee relations
  • Managing of sales commissions and target driven analysis
  • Operational assistance
  • Oversee admin department of 10 People.
  • Group Financial reporting
  • Strategic management to achieve key performance goals.
  • Implementation of value based management.
  • Performed training sessions for staff in general motivation and values.

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least a Bachelors degree with Accounts at university level 
  • Should have worked in an accounting environment for at least 3 years where Accounts experience was gained
  • Must have an appreciation for good internal controls, and be willing to maintain, monitor or police the controls, as the requirement may be.
  • Must have a “bigger” picture of accounts than merely capturing data
