Our client in the Building industry is recruiting for a Financial Manager to join their team in Worcester.
MAIN TASKS:
- Will be reporting directly to the owner
- Ensuring timeous accounts close-off on a monthly basis, sticking to deadlines where required.
- Periodic reconciliations
- Performing the compilation of monthly management reports.
- Budget and profitability management
- Employee relations
- Managing of sales commissions and target driven analysis
- Operational assistance
- Oversee admin department of 10 People.
- Group Financial reporting
- Strategic management to achieve key performance goals.
- Implementation of value based management.
- Performed training sessions for staff in general motivation and values.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a Bachelors degree with Accounts at university level
- Should have worked in an accounting environment for at least 3 years where Accounts experience was gained
- Must have an appreciation for good internal controls, and be willing to maintain, monitor or police the controls, as the requirement may be.
- Must have a “bigger” picture of accounts than merely capturing data
