Our client is recruiting for an Financial Manager with at least 5 years commercial experience. Based at its offices in Brackenfell, the job incumbent will support the COO in managing the company’s finance function.
The successful incumbent must have experience operating at a strategic level, and be a strong manager.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Accurate and timely financial reporting
- Implementation and management of financial systems, procedures, and controls
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Analysis of cost of production, profit margins and sales
- Management of finance department
- Assist with the drafting of legal agreements and tender applications
- Managing secretarial and statutory compliance, including preparation and filing of annual reports
- Managing financial audits
- Designing new and improving on existing processes and structures
Qualification, Experience & Skills required:
- A minimum qualifications of a B. Com / B. Compt or similar degree in Accounting
- Completed SAICA articles;
- At least 5 years post article experience
- Senior financial management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen
